It has long been a dream of the Choir leaders, to one day be able to spread
our work and programs overseas. As the support for the Choir continues to grow throughout the world, an invitation
was accepted in early 2007, to tour a small section of the Choir throughout the UK and France in easly 2008.
With invaluable support from a dedicated global network of the friends, seven
Choir leaders will set out on the Choir's first overseas tour in January 2008, taking in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales
and France.
The four week tour will include visits to schools and hospitals in each of the
countries, extensive media work and promotion and demonstration of our unique 'Dancing
Hands Sing' music program for Deaf children, and of course, plenty of sight-seeing! The tour group
will be leaving behind 40+C Aussie summer heat as they head into the icy and windy climes of winter in the northern
hemisphere.
